Explore, Learn and Excel in Technical Production!
If you are looking for new ways to become involved at Drury Lane and are interested in lighting, sound or stage management, you will now have the opportunity! This fall we will be offering a series of workshops that will provide technical training on an on-going and hands-on basis as we work towards developing a network of lighting & sound operators and stage managers who can support our upcoming productions.
No previous tech experience is required! Just a willingness to learn and have fun.
If you have any questions or wish to be notified of our upcoming workshops, please send an email to our Technical Coordinator Stacey Tiller at
staceytiller08@gmail.com
.
Anyone who has a strong background in technical production who wishes to volunteer their time with training or working on our shows at the Loft, can also contact Stacey Tiller to discuss opportunities.
2022/2023 Student Apprenticeship Program
This year we will be working with local high schools to develop and foster a relationship with students in the community who wish to volunteer backstage on Drury Lane productions. Students can earn their 40 Community Service Hours (required for graduation) or work with Drury through their school’s Cooperative Education Program. Students will be offered exposure and training in many areas of technical production including, sound & lighting, props, costumes, set construction & painting and front of house support. More information will be released this fall, but inquires can be directed to Stacey Tiller at
staceytiller08@gmail.com
in the meantime.
